Please pray...

Jun 23, 2015

"We add our prayers to those already lifted for the families of those beautiful souls whose lives were so brutally ended Wednesday night at Emmanuel AME church. We Pray for those who survived the shooting." Our work and ministry as agents of the gospel, as agents of love and peace, is not done. We cannot be silent or leave the work of reconciliation to others. We have been given the ministry of reconciliation. We must be courageous enough to work to effect change that will eradicate systemic racism. The ripple effect of racism stretches far indeed but so does the gospel of love and peace. With God's help we must continue to seek and serve Christ in all persons loving our neighbors as ourselves and most important, strive for justice and peace and respect the dignity of every human being with vigilance.

We pray for the nine martyrs may they rest in peace. Let light perpetual shine upon them.

"Let justice roll down like water and righteousness like an ever rolling stream."

In the peace of Christ,
Mo. Deb
